The battery goes dead overnight due to a drain on the battery. Since then I have complained 12-14 times. Calling the new CBR a 300 does seem a little generous in this case, but admittedly, “CBR286R” just doesn’t roll off the tongue the same way. The bump in displacement is a result of increasing the Thumper’s stroke from 55mm to 63mm. Its 76mm bore stays the same. Honda says this provides a 17% boost in horsepower.
